Release Date: February 4th 2015
Publisher: Image Comics

Saga is back, as is almost the entire cast! And as thanks to retailers and readers for helping our audience continue to grow every new arc, Fiona Staples created an amazing wraparound cover for this action-packed issue.

My Review:

Saga is finally back from its hiatus and Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples return to deal with their combined flare for dramatics along with intergalactic war and mayhem.

Coming back from its lengthy hiatus, this issue introduces back all the characters from issue 24 and presents them to the reader to where they currently are in the story. The issue starts with the beginning of the war between Wreath and Landfall and the progression that the war has had on the universe surrounding them.

Hazel does narration from the future talking about her parents and there was one line that was especially heartbreaking.

"Like I said, it had been months since Dad and I had last seen each other....and it will be YEARS before the two of us would see each other again."

The issue ends as most Saga issues end, with a splash page and a cliffhanger, promising new action and conflict for the new issue. I'm curious about the new characters thrown in the final page and I wonder what they're all about, considering their spectacularly bad fashion choices.

Saga Issue 25 is available here

As always, check out my review for the other installments in the series:
Volume One (Issues 1-6)
Volume Two  (Issues 7-12)
