Something terrible happens.
This issue is one of my favorites in the Saga series since it sets up a lot of what's to come and it lets us in more on the characters and the not so pleasant sides of them.
Issue #20 does a lot to set up the next issue and the next big problems that Alana and Marko will face, but Alana and Marko are not all together either. Alana is working the circuit as an actor and Marko is a stay at home dad, but their relationship is far from perfect. Alana is gone for most of the day and it seems that Marko is interested in Hazel's dance instructor who is also married.
We are also introduced to an interesting development in the robot kingdom and I wonder if this is a political maneuver of the lower castes or just the action of one crazy robot guy. I'm a sucker for a coup d'état and I'm interested to see where it this plot line will go.
As always, check out my review for the other installments in the series:
Volume One (Issues 1-6)
Volume Two (Issues 7-12)
