I've known and been to Little Havana many times and when I
I started off by walking down 8th street to an Ernest Hemingway themed Cuban restaurant named Sala'o , which was "born from Ernest Hemingway’s love affair with Cuba" and served some of the yummiest seafood I've had in the city.
I was adventurous and ordered the octopus, which was delicious and incredibly fresh. Also not pictured here were the oysters we shared as appetizers and mojitos, which were equally as divine.
Next up we wandered into a nearby coffee shop named La Colada Gourmet which specializes in roasting their own coffee and the decor and art was eye -catching and unique.
It was one of the best cups of coffee I've had, which is saying a lot when there's so much great coffee in Miami.
No matter where your hometown is, I would encourage you to pick a place in your city and act like a tourist for a few hours! It really broadens your horizons because you
