Injured and on the run, it has been seven days since June and Day barely escaped Los Angeles and the Republic with their lives. Day is believed dead having lost his own brother to an execution squad who thought they were assassinating him. June is now the Republic's most wanted traitor. Desperate for help, they turn to the Patriots - a vigilante rebel group sworn to bring down the Republic. But can they trust them or have they unwittingly become pawns in the most terrifying of political games?

My Review:

What's good about it:

Plot: Just like Legend, the plot to its sequel, Prodigy, is fast paced and solid throughout. I really enjoyed all the moral dilemmas that the characters faced and dealt with throughout the story and the world building and politics was super engaging.

Character Development: Marie Lu does a fantastic job at developing the characters for the second installment of the Legend seriesAnden, in particular, was a well rounded character and didn't fall into the tropes of good vs evil.

Kaede, also was given depth and I loved all the scenes she was in, and her pilot skills were just... amazing, I don't want to spoil anybody on details, but her character was really well written.

What's bad about it:

Nothing: Literally, nothing. Nothing at all.

Final Thoughts:

This series is amazing, Prodigy was amazing! I loved how we got a look at The Colonies, and it was a solid and entertaining read. I can't wait to read the finale, Champion
